Manor Dining Room

Beautiful, individual rooms

We offer  individually styled bedrooms in the main Manor House; sumptuous mattresses, goose down duvets and high thread count linens complete the experience of comfort, while individually decorated rooms with direct dial telephones and televisions with full Sky+ HD packages, provide boutique hotel features.

Relaxation and Comfort

Our guest areas feature the best in soft furnishing and relaxation. Duresta, Philippe Starck, Villeroy & Boch and Molton Brown are to be found nestling amidst 18th Century antiques, commensurate with the heritage of the Manor itself.

Dining – your way

Our beautiful dining room is a sunny oasis in the morning, and a stylish retreat in the evening. With double aspect views across ornamental gardens and fields, meal times are leisurely and relaxed – with the finest foods, prepared to exacting standards by our private chef, with a menu designed to your own personal taste.

Fitness Facilities & Spa

We offer complimentary membership, during your stay, of our local Marriott golf club and spa – with swimming pool, gym, aerobic equipment and weights all included. Our own personal trainer will visit you regularly during your stay, if required, to work on a fitness programme to suit you. Please note that the pool and gym are off site, around 10 minutes from our facility, and our staff will take you there whenever required. The spa also offers beauty treatments, golf and a driving range – these are not included, but are subject to availability at a local cost. Beauty therapies at the Cedarwood Spa are popular and we recommend booking in advance – please click here  for the spa brochure.

Therapeutic Spaces

Our therapeutic spaces are light and airy – with neutral, uplifting tones. We aim to provide this therapeutic experience as informally as possible – allowing us to adapt to suit your own needs and requirements, and work with your schedule and needs.

Stunning Views – Tranquil Grounds

Ornamental gardens, spa area with hot tub, orchards, fruit and vegetable gardens – and acres of country walks across our fields – all provide a space within which you can truly ‘breathe’. Three church spires can be seen on the distant horizon (one of our walks will take you all the way to the church) and horses and sheep variously graze in the fields beyond. Separated into many, interesting spaces, our gardens provide comfortable places to read, relax or just gaze into the far distance.

Rooms Available

The White Room - Manor House

The White Room is a double aspect, garden facing room, in a Louis XIV style. With classic French white and crisp pale blue tones, the room features an en suite shower room, direct dial telephone and television.

The Tudor Room - Manor House

The Tudor Room is a classic four poster room, in period style, with a heavy oak carved bedframe and double aspect windows looking out towards the lawns. A large, spacious room in chocolate and caramel tones, period style meets contemporary elegance – with sumptuous linens, goose down duvets and velvet throws.

The Green Room - Manor House

As the name suggests, citric lime tones meet striking black in a contemporary room that is all about serene style. Overlooking the front lawns and offering television and direct dial telephone, the Green Room is an oasis of calm.

The Spires - Manor House

The Spires is a gorgeous, cosy en suite room with views over the gardens and fields to the church spires in the distance – hence the name ‘The Spires’. The room comprises a double bed, direct dial telephone and flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom includes a bath with shower over and high windows, again overlooking the fields.
